United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, has urged Russia and the United States to influence all sides in Syria to ensure security of a UN aid convoy to Aleppo. Aid convoy is still awaiting on Turkish border because of security fears and difficulties on the third day of a ceasefire.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov have agreed that the Syria truce should be extended by another 48 hours to allow for increased humanitarian access.
