Bahrain’s National Communication Centre has confirmed that several locations and facilities within the kingdom were struck in attacks launched from outside the country, describing the incident as a blatant breach of Bahrain’s sovereignty and national security.
In a statement, the centre said security and military agencies swiftly activated emergency response plans and initiated necessary on-ground measures following the strikes. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure public safety and maintain order.
The Bahraini government strongly denounced what it termed “treacherous attacks,” warning that such actions represent a direct threat to the kingdom’s stability and to the safety of citizens and residents.
The statement underscored that Bahrain retains the full right to respond and to take all appropriate steps to defend its sovereignty and protect national security, in coordination with allied nations and strategic partners.
Officials added that additional details related to the military aspects of the incident would be released later by the competent authorities, in accordance with national interests and security considerations. The public was urged to rely only on official sources for information and to refrain from circulating rumours or unverified reports that could undermine stability.
