Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has ordered an inquiry into the Gurdwara incident in Guwahati. Official sources said that the Joint Commissioner of City Police will conduct the inquiry and submit report within 7 days.
Local police allegedly entered into the religious place recently by wearing shoes, hurting sentiment of a section of people. Police went to that place in search of a leader of Aam Admi Party. Meanwhile, one Sub-Inspector has been suspended into the case.
