Major Asian stock markets ended mixed today. China’s Shanghai Composite Index declined over 0.7 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dropped over 0.2 per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index ended nearly flat. Conversely, South Korea’s Kospi index gained 0.14 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei 225 index ended near flatline, with a positive bias. Meanwhile, major European indices were trading in negative territory today. France CAC 40 was trading over 0.8 per cent down, London’s FTSE 100 slipped 0.6 per cent, and Germany’s DAX dipped over 0.2 per cent, when reports last came in.
