China’s Shanghai Composite Index inched marginally up by 0.05 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index lost 1.86 per cent, South Korea’s Kospi down by 1.7 per cent , Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.77 per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times index slid 0.21 per cent.
