In the Asian Games, Boxer Amit Panghal added one more Gold in Indian medal tally. He defeated reigning Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov of Uzbekistan in the final of Men’s Light Flyweight 49 kilogram category.
India’s Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar bagged gold in Bridge Men’s Pair event of the tournament. Now, India is eyeing another gold medal as it will take on Hong Kong in Women’s Squash Final.

The other major final of the day will be in the squash arena where India’s women’s team will fight for gold against Hong Kong.
Earlier, Indian mixed judo team crashed out today after losing to Kazakhstan in the quarter-final.
There are two finals in each bridge event with the second final are being played today. India’s teams are also involved in the Women’s Pair and Mixed Pair finals.
India ends their men’s Hockey campaign by playing a bronze medal match against arch-rival Pakistan today.
In Diving, India’s Siddharth Bajrang will be in action in Men’s 10 metre Platform Preliminary.
With just two days of action left at the 2018 Asian Games, India are 8th in the standings with 66 medals.
They have more medals than Iran, Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan, but these three teams have more gold medals which put them above India.
China leads the medals tally followed by Japan.
