Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane reached Leh on a Two day visit to Ladakh, Tuesday. Army General is visiting Leh for the second time after the recent stand-off at Line of Actual Control in the Eastern Ladakh.

After a violent stand-off in the Galwan River Valley on 15th June, the Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane is in LADAKH for a 2 day visit.

General MM Narwane arrived in Leh Tuesday afternoon. This is second time Army Chief is in LEH after a near two months old stand-off with China in Eastern Ladakh region.

On his arrival General Narwane visited Army Hospital in LEH to interact with the injured Soldiers in Galwan stand-off.

He enquired about their well being and treatment at the hospital. This was a morale boosting interaction for the gallant soldiers.

Later in the evening, General Narwane met Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at the Hall of Fame in LEH.

Alongwith the General Narwane, Northern Command LtGenl YK Joshi, GoC of the Fire and Fury LtGenl Harvinder Singh are also present.

In an hour long Meeting, Ladakh MP appealed for border infrastructure, key strategic alternatives and for a dedicated Eastern Ladakh core.

General MM Narwane will have series of meetings with local Army officials here.
