A 1995 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, Arindam Bagchi on Saturday assumed charge as the new Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs.
Earlier, he was serving as the Joint Secretary (North) in the Ministry. He has replaced incumbent Anurag Srivastava.
