AMIT SHAHBJP Chief Amit Shah today attacked Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi over his recent remarks that the dynasty is everywhere in India whether it is politics or business.

Mr. Shah countered him saying President, Prime Minister and Vice President have reached there positions due to performance.

Briefing media about BJP National Executive meeting in New Delhi, party leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal informed that the BJP Chief said, his party believes in politics of performance unlike Congress which believes in dynasty and politics of appeasement.

Mr. Shah said, the country has rejected the politics of casteism, dynasty and appeasement.

Mr. Shah also said the BJP is committed to ridding the country from casteism, corruption and poverty.

The BJP President said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government is working relentlessly in the interests of poor and listed several schems and steps including demonetization and GST which are aimed at welfare of the poor and downtrodden.

He said government has shown its patience, courage and commitments on the Doklam standoff and lauded the Prime Minister.

In his speech, Mr Shah also condemned the violence against BJP cadres in Kerala and West Bengal saying the BJP workers can not be cowed down by political violence.

Mr Goyal said, party workers will take out a Padyatra from 3rd to 17th of next month in Kerala to connect with the people.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Shah inaugurated BJP National executive meeting. The meet began today on the occasion of birth anniversary of BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay.

In the evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the valedictory address.

All party legislators besides its core group leaders and party’s senior leadership from states are participating in the meeting.

The party national executive is expected to pass resolutions on political and economic issues and will bring out a road map of the government for the next one and half year.

BJP meet lauds note ban, PM’s diplomatic skills on China

The BJP National Executive today lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his leadership for leading India into a new era of diplomatic endeavours both in terms of enhancing nation’s image overseas and also in helping improve relations in the neighbourhood.

Briefing reporters, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari referred to recent standoff with China in Doklam sector and said Prime Minister Modi showed his political acumen and diplomatic skills by ensuring that the tension between the two neighbours is resolved.

In the political resolution adopted at National Executive meet, the party leaders reiterated the pledge to herald a corruption-free India.
