Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu today said party President Amit Shah was capable for a second term irrespective of Bihar assembly elections results.

Replying to a media query in New Delhi over his colleague Rajnath Singh’s remarks expressing same view, Mr. Naidu said Mr. Shah is doing a good job and is one of the most capable organizers of the party providing effective leadership. He said it will be decided as and when the occasion arises and there will not be any problem.

Mr. Shah’s current term ends in a couple of months. He had taken over from Rajnath Singh in July last year following the spectacular victory of BJP in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Rajnath Singh had resigned in the middle of his term as he had joined the Union Council of Ministers.
