AMIT SHAH

AMN / New Delhi

BJP President Amit Shah today attacked opposition on the issue of Assam NRC and infiltration accusing them of doing vote bank politics on it.

Addressing a Purvanchal rally here, Mr. Shah said, any nationalist should not have objection on NRC as it has hit the problem of infiltration but Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others opposed it.

He said, Delhi and other parts of the country are facing the illegal infiltration problem which is affecting the interest of common Indians.

Mr. Shah took a dig at opposition parties’ unity ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections alleging that they do not have any policy and leadership and their only aim is to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed, only BJP led NDA can provide a strong and decisive government at the Centre.

The BJP President accused Delhi government of having failed in fulfilling its promises. He said, Delhi government always remains in confrontation mode. He alleged that Arvind Kejriwal speaks only lies.

He said, the development has been hampered in the national capital under the AAP rule. Several BJP leader and Union Minister including Dr Harsh Vardhan, Vijay Goyal and Manoj Tiwari were present on the occasion.
