AMN / MUGHAL SARAI
Accusing the opposition of playing Vote Bank politics, BJP national President Amit Shah asked the Congress, Samajwadi party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party to make their stand clear on 123rd Constitution Amendment Bill 2017, commonly known as OBC bill.
Addressing a Public rally at Bakle ground after renaming the Mughal Sarai Junction as Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Shah said, his party had passed the bill in the Lok Sabha and it has to be passed by the Rajya Sabha now. He asked these parties to clearly state whether they really want welfare of the Backward Communities.
Mr Shah also charged the opposition with playing vote bank politics on the National Register of Citizens (NRC) issue. The BJP chief asked SP, the BSP and the Congress whether they want the infiltrators to stay in the country or they should be driven out.
Earlier, the BJP President renamed Mughal Sarai Junction as Deendayal Upadhyay railway station in presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of state for Railways Manoj Sinha.
