CPI(M) Politburo member Prakash Karat today alleged that the Neo-Hindutwa authoritarianism was growing from the ground level and underlined the need for united struggle by all secular forces to counter the Hinduva agenda of the BJP.
Addressing a programme ‘Neo-liberal policies, authoritarianism, communal policies-alternatives” organised by the CPI(M), on the occasion of centenary celebrations of its leader late Moturi Hanumantha Rao here on Sunday, Prakash Karat said that the BJP availed the neo-liberal policies and also Communalism for its political mileage.
In pursuit of neo-liberal policies, the communal forces had grown such a level of grabbing power.
Authoritarianism was created below ground level with the help of RSS and Hindutva forces and the challenge posed before the democratic forces is how to counter the communal forces. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is more aggressive in pursuing neo-liberal policies.
