Veteran Samajwadi leader Mulayam Singh Yadav today allEged that his son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is anti-Muslim and will not get votes of Muslims.
Mulayam while addressing the party workers at the state party office here today said, “Akhilesh was against appointment of a Muslim DGP.
” Several Muslim clerics have also informed me that the community was being ignored by this SP Government which is unfortunate, he further said.
The statement by Mulayam gains importance as the leader has already said that he was ready to take on Akhilesh in the UP polls.
Akhilesh is banking on the Muslim votes with Congress and RLD alliance and they would aim to dent into the BSP’s poll formula of Dalit-Muslim combination.
