Nepal Government has formed a Constituency Delimitation Commission to recommend number of provincial and federal constituencies in the country.
The five member commission will be headed by former Chief Justice Kamal Narayan Das.
After the cabinet meeting held at Kathmandu today, Finance Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that Commission has been given the mandate of 21 days to recommend the number of constituencies.
As per the new constitution of Nepal, election for Provincial Assemblies and House of Representatives needs to be completed by 21 January, 2018.
