Underworld don Chhota Rajan was today sent to CBI custody by a Delhi court. CBI’s spokesperson said that they have got Rajan’s custody in one of the cases against him.
Due to security reasons, the proceedings of the court were conducted at the CBI headquarters.
Once a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, Rajan was brought to New Delhi from Indonesia Friday. He was on the run for 27 years and has been brought to the country to face trial in over 70 cases of murder, extortion and smuggling of drugs in Delhi and Mumbai.
