In Nepal, an earthquake occurred in Mugu in Karnali Province this morning. According to the National Earthquake Measuring and Research Centre, an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in Mugu district at 8:03 am this morning.

Earlier on Thursday, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded in Sindhupalchowk of Bagmati Province. Kathmandu Valley also experienced a jolt of earthquake yesterday afternoon. According to the National Earthquake Measuring and Research Centre, the epicentre of the earthquake was located at Majhitar in the district.
