The number of COVID-19 positive cases has been increasing day by day in Manipur. One hundred and sixteen people have tested positive for COVID-19 during the last twenty-four hours. These cases were detected among the 2,283 samples tested for the virus and the positivity rate is 5.1 percent.
One COVID-19 related death case has been reported in the last twenty-four hours. The death toll increased to 2,012 in the State.
Meanwhile, 14 COVID-19 patients were discharged taking the total number of recovered cases to 1,23,793. The recovery rate decreased to 97.98 percent. The total number of infected people so far is 1,26,344. The total number of active cases increased to 539.
The total number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered till this evening as per cowin portal in Manipur is 23,62,863 including 10,12,570 second doses. The total number of precautionary doses administered is 1,612 in the state.
