Police in Bangladesh killed nine suspected terrorists in a gunfight during a joint armed forces operation early this morning in Dhaka’s Kalyanpur area.
They were killed in a joint operation by RAB, Dhaka Metropolitan Police and SWAT called Storm 26. The terrorists were hiding in a five-story building using as den by them near a girls high school.
Police sources said the suspected militants hurled bombs and fired gunshots at the police as they approached the hideout.
