Altogether 786 candidates are in the fray for the fourth phase of elections after withdrawal of nomination papers. 28 candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers. Polling in this phase, will be held in 55 constituencies spread over 7 districts of East & West Chamaparan, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Siwan and Gopalganj on the 1st of next month.
Meanwhile, 38 nomination papers were rejected during scrutiny of nomination papers for the fifth and final phase of election in the state.Candidates can withdraw their nomination till tomorrow. In this phase polling will be held in 57 constituencies spread over 09 districts on 5 th of next month.
