These awards are given for excellence in the field of implementation of Official Language Policy, original Hindi Book-Writing and Hindi book-writing on subjects of Science and Technology. This year, a new sub-category has been added by the Science and Technology Ministry to promote the use of Hindi language in the field of Science and Technology.
The Indian Institute of Public Administration is also organizing a lecture in hindi, to tackle the menace of corruption to mark the significance of the day.
