Five persons including four senior citizens died in a fire which broke out in a 15-storey building in Tilak Nagar area in Mumbai. The fire broke out last evening in one of the flats on eleventh floor of Sargam Society building and spread to another flat on the floor.
The firefighting system was not working.
Another two persons including a fireman were injured in the blaze. The fire was brought under control late in the night and the residents in the lower floors were evacuated safely by firefighters.
