Four pilgrims were killed in a landslide triggered by heavy rain in Vaishnodevi in Jammu and Kashmir today. Ten other pilgrims were injured in the incident.
Four of injured were relieved after first aid while condition of five injured is reported to be critical. Official sources said, the landslide occurred near Ardhkuwari on the shrine track in the wee hours today. The injured have been admitted in SMVD Naryana hospital in Katra.
Meanwhile, the shrine track has been cleared of the debris and the pilgrimage is progressing smoothly.
