An explosion has hit near the Russian embassy in Kabul today, killing at least four people and wounding 24 others, Interior Ministry said. Sources said that a suicide bomber targeted an Afghan vehicle, reportedly carrying government personnel.
Another witness who works in the Afghanistan Ministry of Home Affairs said that the suicide bomber rammed his motorbike on the government vehicle. The attack happened during rush hour along a busy road leading to the country’s Parliament. So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
