Four persons have been detained for questioning over the robbery and alleged gangrape incident on the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Dileep Singh said today that suspects are being identified. They will be arrested once their involvement is confirmed. More suspects are being questioned, he said.
Yesterday, armed robbers had struck a group of eight people travelling to Bulandshahr in a vehicle, shooting dead a man and looting cash and jewellery.
Four women, who were travelling in the car with family, alleged that they were raped at gunpoint after they tried to resist the robbery bid.
