A total of 348 candidates are in the fray for ensuing assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh,
after scrutiny of nominations was held today.
Forty-six candidates withdrew their papers. The state goes to polls on 9th of next month.
Political parties will now begin campaigning for the elections.
Union Minister and senior BJP leader J P Nadda will address rallies in Solan and Shimla district.
Senior BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal will address rallies in Chamba and Kangra districts. Similarly, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will address rallies in Sirmour district.
