Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inducted three new faces from Gujarat. Senior BJP leaders and MPs Parshottam Rupala, Jaswant Sinh Bhabhor and Mansukh Mandavia are the three new faces from Gujarat which have been inducted in Modi cabinet today. Mr. Rupala had served as Cabinet minister of Agriculture in Gujarat.

He is also the national vice president of ruling BJP. He was recently elected as Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat. Mr. Rupala is coming from influential Kadva Patel community in Gujarat. He is one of topmost senior leaders of Gujarat BJP. He had also served as State BJP president, when Narendra Modi was Chief Minister in Gujarat.

Another new face inducted in Modi cabinet is Jaswantsinh Bhabhor who was minister for Tribal Affairs and Rural Development in Gujarat in the past. Mr. Bhabhor comes from Dahod district which is center of tribal belt of Central and Eastern Gujarat. Mr. Bhabhor is MP from Lok sabha.

Third minister inducted from Gujarat is Shri Mansukh Mandavia who has agricultural background and also headed Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation in the state. MP from Rajya Sabha, Mr. Mandavia is the young face in new cabinet. Mr. Mandavia’s recent success was party’s victory in Talala by-election in Saurashtra belt.

Mr. Mandavia belongs to politically vocal Leuva Patel community. Gujarat BJP has organized welcome ceremony of all three new Union Ministers at 7 pm today on Ahmedabad airport. They will be joined by national party president Amit Shah and state party president Vijay Rupani.
