RAJIV NAGAR (NEW DELHI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Monday said he had no hesitation in appearing before the Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the 2G spectrum issue. ‘I am nothing to hide’ Dr. Singh said while addressing the Congress Plenary on the concluding day of the two-day session.

He said the PAC, headed by senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, has all the powers which can be given to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).

The Opposition stalled proceedings in the Winter Session of Parliament demanding JPC into the 2G spectrum scam.

Prime Minister also said that government would pay careful attention to five-point agenda to fight corruption set out by Sonia Gandhi. He said, all aspects of 2G spectrum allocations are being probed and no guilty person will be spared. He said, no purpose will be served by JPC as multi-agency probe is underway into 2G spectrum allocation.
