David-HeadleyPakistani-American Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Coleman Headley would depose before a special Mumbai court Monday Feb 8.

Mumbai Special court Judge GA Sanap had on December 10, last year, made Headly an approver and directed him to depose before the court on February 8.

It is expected that Headley would reveal broader aspect of criminal conspiracy and who all were involved in the 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai attacks which had left 166 dead and 309 others injured.

The trial of the 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai is set to witness a historic milestone tomorrow with the deposition of key plotter of the attack David Coleman Headley before a special court in Mumbai tomorrow morning.

Headly’s deposition would be recorded via video conferencing between 7 am to 12. 30 pm and it would later continue for next few days as well.

Senior Public Prosecutor Mr. Ujjwal Nikam said Headley’s evidence is important to unfold many facts behind the 26/11 attack. he also said that Headly could also clear Pakistan’s role in the attacks.

Headly is currently in the custody of United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He was sentenced to jail for 35 years in prison for his role in Mumbai attacks on January 24, 2013.
