The death toll in Sunday’s boat accident near Shah Porir Dwip, on the southern tip of Bangladesh has risen to 23. Police chief for the border town of Teknaf, Mian Uddin, said eight bodies of Rohingya refugees were found on the banks of the Naf river, which separates Bangladesh from Myanmar, and another was found miles away on the island of St Martin.
