At least 22 people were killed and 43 others injured in three separate terror attacks in Afghanistan today. In the first suicide attack, fourteen Nepalese security contractors were killed when a suicide bomber hit a minibus carrying them in Kabul. The Interior Ministry said several others, including Afghan civilians, were also injured. Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the attack. In a tweet, Mr Modi extended his deep condolences to the people and governments of Nepal and Afghanistan. The Prime Minister said, India are taking various steps to provide all assistance to the Nepal government.

In the second attack eight people were killed when a motorcycle bomb exploded in a crowded market in Badakhshan province. In the third attack, five persons including an Afghan lawmaker have been injured in Chel Siton area of Kabul.

Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah has condemned the violence as an act of terror and intimidation.
