An attacker has wounded 20 children with a hammer inside a primary school in Beijing. Chinese authorities say a male attacker has wounded 20 children inside a Beijing primary school.
Authorities did not say what weapon, if any, was used in an attack that left three children with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The Xicheng district government said all the children are receiving hospital treatment.
The authorities said that three of the injured children have serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Local media said, the suspect has been apprehended and an investigation has been launched.
