At least 20 persons were killed when a boat carrying Indonesian workers from Malaysia capsized in the island of Batam in Indonesia.Police chief Sambudi Gusdian has said that the search efforts are underway and 39 survivors have been rescued. He said, about 90 persons were on the ill-fated vessel.
A survivor has said the speedboat capsized amid heavy rains and high waves about two hours after it left Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
