Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu have expressed grief over the bus fire tragedy in Nashik, Maharashtra. In a series of tweets today, Mr. Modi said, his thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones in this mishap. He prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde says injured will be treated free of cost by government; also announces ex-gratia of five lakh rupees to the next of kin of victims.

The Prime Minister said local administration is providing all possible assistance to affected people. He said ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund would be given to the next of kin of each of the deceased. The injured would be given 50 thousand rupees.

President Droupadi Murmu has expressed her condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the bus fire tragedy in Nashik, Maharashtra. In a tweet today, the President said, she is deeply saddened to learn about the death of many people in a bus fire incident in Nashik. She prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a bus fire mishap in Nashik, Maharashtra. In a tweet today, Mr. Dhankhar conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
