At least 12 people including a woman were crushed to death when a steel rods-laden multi-axle truck collided with a mini tempo and fell on it.
The tempo was carrying people back home from a marriage. According to police sources, the accident occurred near Madanayakanahalli as the driver of the truck could not control the vehicle due to heavy load and it collided with the mini tempo which was carrying people belonging to nearby Kyasapura and Kodagavalli villages.
