NEW DELHI: The government says contours of a political solution to the Kashmir problem are likely to emerge in the next few months.  Addressing a Parliamentary Consultative Committee, Home Minister P Chidambaram said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has improved considerably after the Centre announced the 8 point Plan for the region.The minister also appreciated the work done by the group of interlocutors appointed for Jammu and Kashmir. Responding to suggestions made by the members of the Committee, Mr Chidambaram informed that two special task forces have been constituted to meet the development needs of people of Jammu and Ladakh region respectively.
