The death toll in two separate suicide attacks in Afghanistan has risen to 28. The first attack occurred in Kabul where a Taliban suicide bomber blew himself up near the Afghan Defence Ministry killing 15 persons and injuring 33.

In another attack, 13 people lost their lives as a suicide bomber killed a local militia commander and at least 12 others outside the Governor’s compound in Asadabad, the provincial capital of Kunar.
