Community Radio not allowed to broadcast news programme: Govt

Community Radio stations will not be allowed to broadcast any progammes, related to news and current affairs or political in nature. However, they can use All India Radio content, which will be provided without any charges. Information and Broadcasting Ministry has added new clauses in the guidelines for Community Radio.
