Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today said, education for women must be given prime importance as educating a girl uplifts the entire family.
Mr Naidu was speaking at an event in Farooq College at Kozhikode in Kerala. He urged all organisations to encourage free education for socially and economically backward children. The Vice President also asked everyone to respect the mother tongue, culture and tradition.
