A shoe was hurled at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday by man during a press conference in New Delhi. However, it did not hit Mr. Kejriwal. The attacker is claimed to be from Aam Aadmi Sena, a breakaway group of Aam Aadmi Party. He was arrested by the police .
The man talked about alleged irregularities in distribution of CNG stickers and claimed that no action has been taken though a complaint was filed by him with the Chief Minister.
The incident happened during a press conference at Delhi Secretariat addressed on roll out of the second phase of the Odd-Even scheme from 15th of this month.
BJP has condemned the incident. Party spokesperson Nalin Kohli said somewhere a line needs to be drawn to stop such acts.
Congress leader P C Chako also condemned the incident.
