President Pranab Mukkerjee says India and China are in very interesting phase of economic cooperation. Speaking at India-China Business Forum at Guangzhou, Mr Pranab Mukherjee invited Chinese investors to invest in India. He said, Digital India, Make in India and libralised foreign exchange regime offer great opportunity and asked China to promote Indian products in their market to make mutual trade sustainable.
He noted that Chinese overseas investment has crossed a hundred billion dollars and hoped more of it will flow to lndia. Earlier, speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade said that they expect the two way trade to touch 200 billion dollars by 2019.
