Registration for Amarnath Yatra 2015 begins

The process of registration of pilgrims for Amarnath Yatra 2015 has begun. In a release, the Shrine Board said, those who desire to visit should log on to Board’s website www.shriamarnathjishrine.com to know how to register through Group Registration Facility. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, chaired by Jammu and Kashmir Governor, has issued advisory for yatris.

Eid-Ul-Fitr is the holiday that follows the blessed month of Ramadan and falls on the 1st day of Shawwal, the 10th month in the Hijra (Islamic) calendar. As with all months in the Hijra calendar, it begins with the sighting of the new moon. It commemorates both a joyous holiday and some sadness due to the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.
