MCD fails to keep Delhi clean: Cong

NEW DELHI:Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President and MP Jai Prakash Agarwal said BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has become totally inactive and inefficient with no work being done. The BJP leaders are neck-deep in corruption, and do not bother about the development of Delhi.

Delhi to increase OBC quota of in Govt institutions

NEW DELHI: Delhi Cabinet has decided to increase reservation of OBC students in Government run educational institutions and allowed higher educational institutions in Lal dora, Extended Lal dora and other non-confirming areas to function for academic year 2011-12.

Perfect Health Mela to begin on Oct 14

NEW DELHI: The 18th MTNL Perfect Health Mela 2011, a joint Bhagidari project of Heart Care Foundation of India and World Fellowship of Religions with Delhi government health department,, MCD and NDMC will be held from 14th to 23rd October . The event will include multi location activities from 14th to 18th and then the Health Mela from the 19th to 23rd at the NDMC Ground, Laxmibai Nagar.
