How are the Exam Centres Allotted for JEE Main?

The allotment of the exam centres for JEE Main is based on the preferences selected by the candidates at the time of registration. Exam conducting authority NTA (National Testing Agency) will perform the allotment for examination centres as per your choices, in case the seats are full for that exam centre, your second preference is taken into account and the same is allotted to you.

On 19th October 2018, NTA has issued the list of JEE Mains exam centre allotment for the candidates who are going to appear for the JEE Main exam. From this year onwards, NTA will conduct JEE Main exam twice in a year in the months of January and April. JEE Main January session exam is scheduled from 6th- 20th January 2019 while the April session is scheduled from 6th-20th April 2019 respectively.

To check and view your allotted exam centre, you need to login with your JEE Mains application number and password. The computer-based test JEE Main 2019 exam is conducted for taking admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses. The JEE Main exam will be conducted in different exam centres and in different cities. How to check JEE Main 2019 Exam Centre Allotment?

 

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be going to issue JEE Main admit card and exam centres to only those candidates who submitted the application fees and application form in the right manner. The steps to check the JEE Main 2019 exam centre allotment are given below:

Step 1- Visit the official website of the JEE Main by clicking on the official link i.e www.jeemain.nic.in

Step 2- Login into the JEE Main application account using your application/registration number, password and a security pin.

Step 3-After which you will find a link to view the JEE Main exam centre 2019. Click on that.

Step 4- Here you will able to view the JEE Main exam centre which is allotted to you to appear in the JEE Main 2019 exam.
