The 2nd phase of Odd-Even formula is all set to take off from Friday April 15 in the national capital Delhi. Like the previous phase, only odd-numbered private cars to ply on odd number dates and even-numbered vehicles on even number dates.
There will be Rs. 2,000 penalty in case of violation.
However, women drivers, CNG-operated vehicles, chief ministers of states and vehicles carrying students in uniform will remain exempted from the restrictions of the second phase of odd-even traffic scheme.
The odd even scheme was implemented on an experimental basis from January 1 to January 15 in view of high air pollution in the national capital.
