Congress vise president Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav today released the ten point Common Minimum Program of their Alliance. Freebies like bicycles, smart phones, homes and pension schemes dominate the Common Minimum Program of Congress-SP Alliance in Uttar Pradesh.
In a Joint press conference in state capital Lucknow, both leaders reiterated that this is the right time for a government of youth in Uttar Pradesh. The ten point CMP says that if their government comes to power talented students will get free cycles and youth will get smart phones. It also promises to give free homes to ten lakhs poor people and monthly pension to one crore people in state.
Starting metro rail service in six cities and connecting every district of state to four lane road is also part of common minimum program. Farmers will get electricity on low price and women will get 50% reservation if the alliance comes to power. The ten point CMP assures backward class and minorities to give their share according to their population. There is also a promise of providing water and electricity supply to each village of state in coming five years.
