UP govt launches awareness drive along banks of river Ganga

The Uttar Pradesh Government has launched an awareness drive in 25 districts situated on the banks of river Ganga for maintaining the cleanliness and ever-flowing nature of the river.

Above one lakh Homeguard volunteers will organise public gathering and other awareness programmes in the district under Namami Gange Project till the 6th of next month.

Our  Correspondent reports that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the ‘Namami Gange Jagriti Yatra for the purpose, yesterday.
