Trinamul MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay gets bail

Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay, who has been arrested over his alleged involvement in the 17 thousand crore rupees Rose Valley group chif fund scam, today got conditional bail from Orissa High Court.

The court granted Sudip the bail against two sureties of 50 thousand each and ordered him to deposit 25 lakh rupees and his passport at Bhubaneswar CBI office.

Sudip’s bail plea was earlier rejected by the Khurda District and Sessions Judge Court on February 4.

The CBI, probing the chit fund scam, had arrested the Lok Sabha member from Kolkata on January 3.
