Sushma Swaraj launches Passport Seva app



External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today launched Mobile Passport Application on the occasion of Passport Seva Divas in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Swaraj said, through Passport Seva app, people can apply for a passport from any part of the country.

Police verification will be done on the address, provided by the applicant on the app.

The passport will be dispatched to the same address. She said, this is another step towards simplification of passport service to people.

The Minister also highlighted the transformation in simplification of rules for issuing passports in the last four years.
