Shammi Kapoor, First Dancing Star of Indian Cinema



Shamsher Raj Kapoor alias Shammi kapoor became the first dancing star of India. His first bloc buster was Junglee followed by Kashmir Ki Kali opposite Sharmila Tagor and the most famous song sung by Rafi Sahib Yeh chand sa Roshan Chera became super hit with Shammi Kapooor using Shikaras for the song sequence.

Shammi said you teach step to the heroin and he would dance accordingly.
